Our "Bold Acquisitions" pieces usually start with "rough" -- unfinished chunks of stone -- that we acquire from all over the world. We then discover what interesting shapes the "rough" wants to become. The result is a unique stone that we then pair with complimentary bead-stones and sterling silver to create pieces that are dynamic and pleasing both from a color standpoint and texturally. Sometimes we select unusual raku, lampwork, or other interesting items -- or make our own silver pieces to serve as the centerpiece from which we create the whole article.
